This motor with rheostat control have stator winding and rotor winding. The stator and rotor winding can be connect ( by switches ) with rheostat by series and parallel, this is different type of connection to change of characteristics of motor speed, power and change of need voltage from battery : 8.5 v or 6 v. The technical characteristics: The power at speed of output axis of reducer 1440 rpm ( 24 fps ), with battery 6 v - 16W ....with battery 8 v - 24 W, Output speed of output axis of reducer 480-1920 rpm ( 8-32 fps ) The power conditions 25 %- work time, 75% time of waiting. We will told about control of motor with connect a power cable from battery o n motor only ( not by original power cord with two connectors on body and on motor ).
You can control of motor by a few versions : 1. by switch III and start stop pin I 2. by switch II.
1. the control of motor by switch III and start-stop pin I. The switch II must be set at position -(1) , " 0" ( off ). The rheostat must be set on position " 1 ". If you need speed up to 16 fps and have normal condition of air, not less of +10 C, to have of normal condition of battery, you need set of switch III on position (4). The switch III connect of rheostat with rotor series, and parallel of stator winding. You can run and stop motor, by press on pin (I) and adjust of speed by move of position of rheostat from 1 to 9.
The moving of pin ( I ) look like by two position , the first position connect rotor without rheostat and motor have maximum speed. If you press more on pin (I), you have a second position of pin, and pin connect rotor by rheostat and you can adjusting of speed. This is version of control use for run of camera with maximum speed at first time of shooting.
If you need speed more 16 fps, or you have low power of battery ,or you have temperature of air less of +10C, you need set switch III on position (5). The rheostat must be at position " 9". The switch III connect of stator winding by rheostat series and parallel with rotor wind. You need press on start-stop pin and motor will run. You can adjust of speed by move of rheostat from position 9 to less.
2. The control of motor by switch II. The start-stop pin (I) set on non press position. The switch III can set on any position. The rheostat must be set on position " 1 ". The initial position of switch II - (1) - 0 - off, the motor stopped.
If you need speed up to 16 fps and have normal condition of air, not less of +10 C, to have of normal condition of battery, You need set of switch II from position (1) to position (3), by position ( 2). The switch II connect of rheostat with rotor series and motor will run and you can control of speed by rheostat. You can see, at time of set of switch on middle position ( 3) motor will have maximum speed and will have normal speed if you set of switch on position ( 2). This is idea use for good start of camera. You can adjust of speed by move of position of rheostat from 1 to 9.
If you need speed more 16 fps, or you have low power of battery ,or you have temperature of air less of +10C, you need set switch II on middle position ( 2) The switch II connect of stator winding by rheostat series and parallel with rotor wind. You can adjust of speed of camera by rheostat from position of 9 to less. |
