Adopt-A-HighwayIn January of 2008, the Oxford-Ole Miss Rotary Club officially adopted a 2 mile stretch along Highway 6 East. Our stretch begins just East of the Highway 334 exit and is marked on either end with signs. Our club is responsible for cleaning our section of the highway quarterly. The first clean-up day occurred on March 29, 2008 and had a great club member turn out. 4th of July Street Dance FundraiserClub members and their families all turn out for this annual event! Working in conjunction with the LOU 4th of July Celebration Street Dance, the Oxford-Ole Miss Rotary Club sells juicy hotdogs, delicious desserts, and refreshing bottled water to party goers to raise money for our various service projects. This event always combines fundraising, fellowship, and FUN! Power Sharing of KnowledgeThe sharing of knowledge is one of the most important goals of any Rotarian. The Oxford-OleMiss Rotary Club helps make a difference by providing magazine and reading material donations to public housing residents in cooperation with The Oxford Housing Authority. Living Waters Honduras MissionA District 6800 project providing clean drinking water to assist more than 350 homes. Rotary Youth LeadershipRotary's leadership training program for young people emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth
