A member of a “Living History” group who has a strong love for an era in American History and puts forth the effort to learn as much as possible about that time period and then takes the time to experience it in a wilderness setting is what gives the person’s chosen persona believability and inspires others to be authentic in their growth and to progress in their own Frontier Walk.

The same holds true for Christians in their walk through life.

Christians who have a strong love for God and put forth the effort to read the Bible and pray daily in earnest to grow as much as possible as Christians and then put that lifestyle into practice in their day-to-day life is what gives their walk with God believability in the eyes of others and inspires them to be authentic in their own growth and to progress in their Christian walk.

You just can’t read an American History book on a certain time period and then live a believable persona.  You must practice that lifestyle on a regular basis.   The same is true with being a Christian.  You can’t read the bible and then live a believable Christian walk without practicing what you read.

In either case, you must read it, study it, and then practice it daily!   The growth and progress in your walk as a Living Historian or as a Christian never ends!
