Progress to date: We started this garden in March of 2009. See pictures below. We removed the sod, marked off 30 plots for families to grow food in. We put in water tanks and a fence, a flower plot, an herb plot, and compost bins. This first year we have also had classes on gardening, composting, cooking, canning & pickling, all open to the community. The summer crops got plenty of rain this year are almost finished and we are now enjoying our first fall in the garden!
