• We began in 1994 with one table of books
• Today there are about 25,000 books on display (we think)
• At the start of the season, we have over 50,000 books in the back store
• The books weigh about 7 tons
• We put out more books nearly every day
• We put the books away at night (it keeps us young and fit)
• It takes four of us over and hour to put the books out and another hour to put them away
• When it rains, we panic - then we put the tarpaulins on
• One of our better decisions was to install EFTPOS
• Many of our customers are repeat customers
• Our customers come from all over New Zealand and the World
• We will hold books for you
• We are open on fine days from Xmas until the end of February and most Weekends between Labour Day and the end of April
• Our opening hours are 9(ish) to 5(ish)
• We enjoy providing you with books and we are a family business

• We buy most of our books over the Winter months and we sort them. It is hard work
• Most of our books are bought locally, by advertising and from garage sales
