Tanel Sports Package:
Tanel Sports would like to outfit the Ohio Wave with a pretty nice sports package. This package would included their high quality batting gloves, shatterproof polarized sport sunglasses, oversized wheeled equipment bag and best of all their highly rated softball cleats. The cost per player would be $80. This is a great deal for some quality gear. This package is well over $200 with everything (correction: I was informed the bag alone is $120 retail) but we would be using the budgeted money for standard bat bags to make up the difference. We are well aware of the economic conditions for everybody, so, may opt out of this offer if you choose. You will receive a standard Ohio Wave shoulder bat bag.
Please visit the online spread sheet to enter your shoe size. We need to provide Tanel with a rough idea of shoe sizes so they can plan their production. We will have the opportunity to re-verify sizes in Jan/Feb in case your kid has went through a growth spurt. If you chose to opt out please indicate so in the “opt out” column. However, be sure this is what you want to do. This is a great deal for the equipment and cleats Tanel is offering us.

Candle Orders:
Candle orders and money need to be turned in to Deanne Abner or Mary Kester at The Academy on Sunday, November 29th between 2 and 3 pm. If you cannot turn your order in that day, please email Lora Brandon at blbrandon@woh.rr.com to set up a time before the 29th or to get an address to send your order and money to. LATE orders will not be accepted. UD Concession Fundraising: As we are confirmed for various UD Concession dates, you will be contacted by Lora Brandon. As of now, workers from our organization have only been confirmed for 4 dates. Workers from our team have only been confirmed for one date. The list that was sent out last week was simply a schedule request and not our confirmed work schedule. If you are confirmed to work, you will hear from Lora. Fees and Tournaments:
FYI: It is extremely important that we stay current with player fees. We need to get our gear ordered on time this year and the major tournaments are already accepting applications and deposits for next year. As a result, to be eligible to participate in the October Rip-It tournament, all players must have at least paid their commitment fee. Remember the Sub and Pretzel sale is going on now and all profit is applied 100% to your account to pay for fees and/or travel. Remember, you can use PayPal to easily pay fees.
