Home

This is the official home for the Ohio Scales for Youth.  The Ohio Scales for Youth are three (parent, youth, and agency worker rated), brief measures used to assess the outcome of mental health services for youth who are 5 to 18 years of age.  The scales, manuals, training aids, and other materials are available at this site.  As of March 2020, I decided to put the Ohio Scales for Youth in the public domain.  Licensing is no longer required.  You are welcome to download and use the scales or any of the resources on this site for free with no limitations.  This includes making administration, scoring, and reporting software.  The scales were developed with pragmatic purposes in mind.  We hoped that brief, easy to score, reasonably priced, accessible scales would be widely available and used.

The Ohio Scales for Youth were developed with generous support from the Southern Consortium for Children and the Office of Research and Evaluation (ORE) at the Ohio Department of Mental Health.
