THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY TO THOSE USING THE NAME, LOGO AND OR LIKENESS OF "The Ohio Association of ASL Clubs" (hereafter referred to as "the Association"). THESE RULES SHALL APPLY IN REFERENCE TO WEBSITES, FLYERS, CALENDARS, BULLETIN BOARDS, BUSINESS CARDS OR ANY OTHER MEANS OF MARKETING.
- Members of the Ohio Association of ASL Clubs may represent themselves as being a "Member of the Ohio Association of ASL Clubs".
- Please be sure NOT to allude that your event or flyers are on behalf of the Association.
- Organization Members may use the Association's Logo under the following conditions:
- The member clubs must also have and display their own logo, and in doing so it must be more prominent than the Association's logo.
- In cases where both logos are displayed, the member club's logo must be larger than the Association's logo, so that it is not misconstrued.
- Your logo must be distinctly different from the Association's logo.
- If the member organization does not have or display their own logo, then they are not permitted to display the Association's logo.
- The Ohio Association of ASL Clubs does not authorize any chapters, therefore we ask that when selecting a name for your club, do not use the phrase "Ohio Association of ASL Clubs" within the name.
Clubs or Organizations that are looking to have a logo designed may want to contact Jacs Deaf Designs (jacs@jacsdeafdesigns.com). Jacs has created logos and designs for the Ohio Association of ASL Clubs, plus t-shirt artwork for CSU ASL Club, Lakeland Signers, Tri-C ASL Club, and the Tri-C DIS Graduating Class of 2008 and 2009 - and that's just in Ohio. Jacs would quote a rate to design something on an case by case basis.
