          ‘Ohi Lauhala Ohana

Ohi lauhala concluded its 3^rd ganthering

with a job well done.

This gathering included 13 wonderful

new participants from Kona, Hilo, Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

 

 

 The hala by the Konane game must of sighed  

 with relief as the old lau was taken gently from its branches. 

What a beautiful picture this was.

 

 

 

 

 

The young hala bush was

cleaned of its over

cramped growth,

for it to have room to

reach for the sky.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This pretty little tree got its old lau removed to allow it to grow big and strong

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The hala by maintenance  building was completed cleaned of its old lau
