Next Monday is OHG Night at the track meet. People attending the meet should bring an item to donate to help support our troops, thank you.
T-Shirts
Your T-shirt order should be in. We will be ordering the shirts ASAP, we will order 15 so you will still be able to buy one but, you will not get a choice in size.
The Anthem
We are currently trying to change the playing of the Anthem at LHS. We have found that nobody listens or cares about the anthem anymore. We are looking for singers and talented inturmentalists to play/sing the anthem on the daily announcements.

Fundraiser Ideas
Some interesting ideas generated at the September 15th meeting include a school wide donation drive and a Halloween trick or treat for the troops. Packages set to be sent thanks to a huge donation Madison Firefighters Local 311 Charities has committed to covering the remaining cost of sending our 64 boxes. Thank you so much!!!!!!! Trick or Treat! Go out trick or treating for the troops. Operation Hometown Gratitude will be accepting non chocolate candy donations on November 1rst at La Follette High School between 7:40 and 8 am.Packing Event A Huge Success!! Over 50 students and staff joined several officers of the Madison Police Department in packing 64 boxes in 20 minutes during lunch on October 13th. Way to go guys!
