Waffle iron CW key

Waffles are tasty but not so healthy, so you shouldn't eat them every day. Therefore it is perhaps wise to use the waffle iron mainly as a CW key.

A woolen sock makes a perfect spring for the key. Choose a clean one if available.

Keying contacts are made of two safety pins which are then attached to the sock.

The sock is bended like this, so that the pins almost touch each other.

Put the sock into the waffle iron. CAUTION: Do not connect the mains plug, because a burning sock smells terrible.
