Tired of listening to your old vinyl records? Create your own Morse code music with this kind of useful apparatus.

Put a piece of copper-clad pc-board on the platter. Remove the needle and add keying wires under the cartridge.

When the tone-arm is dropped down the wires make contact through the rotating pc-board.

Keying happens by moving this cueing lever. Because of the damper mechanism, the tone-arm drops and rises quite slowly as seen in this video clip:
