Necktie CW key

Integrating advanced technology with clothes is a hot new trend in textile industry. Soon we all have computers in our socks. While waiting for that, here are instructions how to build a CW key into a necktie.

Pick your finest necktie and cut it with scissors like this.

Join the cut ends with a piece of elastic rubber band. Stapler works fine here.

Keying contacts are made of two safety pins and keying cable is soldered to them. Electric tape is needed for some insulation.

When the necktie is pulled downwards, the ends are drawn apart and the uninsulated parts of safety pins make keying connection.
