Welcome to the World of the Dark Arts! The simplest form of Low Magick is sorcery, in which a physical act is performed to achieve a result. Sorcery forms the bulk of folk magick, and is often referred to as “Black Magick” or “the Dark Arts.” An important aspect of this Department are the Classes in Defense. Also included here are “Children of the Night,” such as Demons, Ghosts, Vampires, and Werewolves.

The Department of Dark Arts in the Grey School of Wizardry is a community of teaching Wizards dedicated to providing the apprentice with the highest quality education in occult knowledge appropriate to their level of development. We accomplish this task through the most effective online pedagogic methods available. It is the mission of this Department to inform and equip the student in three main areas: understanding the basics of low magick, or sorcery, and its applications; learning the history and traits of creatures and beings traditionally considered "dark," in cooperation with the Departments of Beast Mastery and Lore; and warding the wizardly safety of hirself and others through Defense Against the Dark Arts as well as the understanding of other potential hazards of our practices and community. All of these are presented at levels deemed safe and appropriate for minors by our Faculty and Administration.

The color of magick associated with this Department is Black, relating to constricting, binding and Saturnian energies. As the color of night, black represents foreboding, fortitude, and consistency because of the need to “make it through the darkness.” Black is sometimes used as a protective color for magickal tools—especially handles and wrappings. It is also used when trying to banish a bad habit, turn negativity, or make drastic life changes. Black is also, of course, the color of Sorcery and the “Dark Arts.”

Cherokee Myth, Magick, and Medicine
Credits: 2
Year Level: 7
Instructor: Rainbow Stonetalker
Class Description: Many of us are familiar with the term ‘Medicine Man’ or ‘Medicine Woman’ to describe a Native American healer. Sometimes these people are also called ‘shamans’, although the word shaman is actually an Eastern word meaning ‘mystic’ or ‘priest. We see these people in such films as Dances with Wolves as being wise and benevolent, but not all of the works that Medicine People do concern healing.

Among Native American peoples as well as persons of good medicine, there are also conjurers who practice other less benevolent activities. This class is designed to examine both sides of the story. It will not teach you how to conjure, nor will it teach you how to heal, but rather you will learn examples from Cherokee heritage, history, and my own experiences as to how some traditional medicine people handle these subjects.

Satianisam- Satanism is a term that refers to a number of related belief systems. Their commonality is that they all feature the veneration or admiration of Satan or similar figures. Originally, the figure of Satan was the one who challenged the religious faith of humans in the Hebrew Bible. In the Greek New Testament, the symbolism of Satan became particularly developed, described in events such as the temptation of Jesus and the book of Revelation. Since then, the Abrahamic religions have variously regarded Satan as a rebellious fallen angel or demon that tempts humans to sin or commit evil deeds. In Christianity, Satan became the outspoken enemy of the Christian religion, a description which helped contribute to the mythos of Satanism. Further, particularly after the European Enlightenment, some works (such as Paradise Lost; see Satan in Literature), began to present the Biblical Satan as an allegory that represents a crisis of faith, individualism, free will, wisdom and enlightenment.

Before the 1960s, Satanic groups were considered underground and often illegal[citation needed]. Anti-witchcraft laws such as the British Witchcraft Act 1735 (not repealed until 1951), reflected strong public sentiment against witchcraft and Satanism. Modern Satanism came into broad public awareness in the 1960s, with events such as the founding of the Church of Satan in 1966, events that were given wide media coverage.

Modern Satanist groups (those which appeared after the 1960s) are widely diverse, but two major trends which can be seen are Theistic Satanism and Atheistic Satanism. Theistic Satanists venerate Satan as a supernatural deity, whom some[who?] consider to be entirely benevolent. In contrast, Atheistic Satanists[1] consider themselves atheists and regard Satan as merely symbolic of certain human traits. This categorization of Satanism (which could be categorized in other ways, for example "Traditional" versus "Modern"), is not necessarily adopted by Satanists themselves, who usually would not specify which type of Satanism they adhere to. Each "type" of Satanist will usually refer to themselves only as a "Satanist". this is what they say they are well no thy enamy as you know thy self.they basticly stole some of our good thing turnthe around and made them bad,to upset christan  chruches and so called "normal" people.

The Left-Hand Path and Right-Hand Path are a dichotomy between two opposing belief systems, whose meanings have varied over time. The distinction is generally used by self-proclaimed followers of the "Left-Hand Path." Opponents often argue that these definitions improperly divide belief systems (a mislabeled or false dichotomy), or claim that many Left-Hand beliefs are illegitimate.[citation needed]

Modern definitions of "Right-Hand Path" elevate spirituality, the strict observance of moral codes, and the worship of deities. The intent of "Right-Hand Path" belief systems is to attain proximity to divinity, or integration with divinity. Conversely, the "Left-Hand Path" belief systems value the advancement and preservation of the self, as well as the pursuit of terrestrial goals.[citation needed] These goals are often achieved either by seeking the guidance of one or more deities (or archetypes of deities) via ritualistic practices, or more commonly, via non-theistic uses of instincts and logic.[citation needed]

Although some sects value proximity to the divine, most followers of Left-Hand Path belief systems seek to become divinities in their own right or behold themselves as such already.[citation needed] A simplified outlook would state the Right-Hand Path teaches divinity through association, while the Left-Hand Path teaches divinity through emulation.

The society's alumni organization, which owns the society's real property and oversees the organization's activity, is the Russell Trust Association, and is named after General William Huntington Russell,[1] who founded the society with fellow classmate Alphonso Taft. Informally, the group is known as "Bones", and members have been known as "Bonesmen".[2] Many Skull & Bones alumni have assumed positions of prominence, including President George W. Bush, and his 2004 Presidential opponent Senator John Kerry.[3][4]see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skull_and_bones basicly this seems to be a male group and are more well off perons on standing in socity.they join or are told to join a faturnity and they end up in this group witch stays with them their whole life.the "brothers"may or may not ask them for faveors and in turn they will help tthem with their nedevers witch sometime make it unfair to the nation as a whole for this gruop shows up in government, thats' why I believe the w bush got to be pres.and boy did he screw up.it looks go on the out side but if they know your durty little secrets they'll use them.being secret they can't be put in jail for black mail and such.never join this group.

the council on foreing relations-The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an American nonpartisan foreign policy membership organization founded in 1921. Located at 58 East 68th Street (Park Avenue) in New York City, with an office in Washington, D.C. Some international journalists believe it to be 'the most influential foreign-policy think tank.' [1][2][3][4] It publishes a bi-monthly journal Foreign Affairs. It has an extensive website, featuring links to its think tank, The David Rockefeller Studies Program, other programs and projects, publications, history, biographies of notable directors and other board members, corporate members, and press releases.[5]see more http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations . secrect some what but hay everyone is to a point.as of joining if your a rich business man sure go a head ,but remember the little people.take it down from the inside.

the bilderberg group-The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is an unofficial, annual, invitation-only conference of around 130 guests, most of whom are persons of influence in the fields of politics, business, and banking. The participants talk about a variety of global issues, economic, military, and political.[1]The group meets annually at luxury hotels or resorts throughout the world — normally in Europe, and once every four years in the United States or Canada. It has an office in Leiden in the Netherlands.[2] The 2009 conference took place from May 14-16 in Athens, Greece.[3]Origin and purposeThe original Bilderberg conference was held at the Hotel de Bilderberg, near Arnhem in The Netherlands, from 29 May to 31 May 1954. It was initiated by several people, including Józef Retinger, concerned about the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, who proposed an international conference at which leaders from European countries and the United States would be brought together with the aim of promoting understanding between the cultures of United States of America and Western Europe.[4]this i feel is a bad thing I see my self as a person of influance. this seem to have a recuring theme one government under David Rockefeller.understanding of what all poeple do not have to be american or think like us,yes we are the greatest country in the world not to toot our own horn, but come on somethings fishy here and I don't mean their dinners.why only invited guests.invite me.don't join this group or any of the last three  I feel they  are a cover  for something more siniser.

Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century. Freemasonry now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around 5 million, including just under two million in the United States and around 480,000 in England, Scotland and Ireland.[1][2] The various forms all share moral and metaphysical ideals, which include, in most cases, a constitutional declaration of belief in a Supreme Being.[3]

The fraternity is administratively organised into Grand Lodges (or sometimes Orients), each of which governs its own jurisdiction, which consists of subordinate (or constituent) Lodges. Grand Lodges recognise each other through a process of landmarks and regularity. There are also appendant bodies, which are organisations related to the main branch of Freemasonry, but with their own independent administration.

Freemasonry uses the metaphors of operative stonemasons' tools and implements, against the allegorical backdrop of the building of King Solomon's Temple, to convey what has been described by both Masons and critics as "a system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols."[4][5]

The Reosicrution Order-Antiquus Ordo Rosicrucianis (A.O.R.) (Ancient Order of the Rosicrucians) is a hermetic-qabalistic Initiatory Order, an Aquarian Age mystery school in the western tradition. Its traditional Latin name is "Antiquus Ordo Rosicrucianis" and its original German name is "Alter Orden der Rosenkreuzer", and means "Ancient Order of the Rosicrucians". A.O.R. is a world-wide non-profit organisation and was founded in 1989 by Daniel Wagner and other Rosicrucian initiates. Since 2005 it was succeeded by Hamid Mirzaie see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Order_of_the_Rosicrucians  From what I know from history channel and natgo channel this was a great order at first it had to be secret, because at the time the Catholic church was against science and free thinking. I see a recurring theme. Catholic church, are they out to control the world, maybe.the scenicistes and freethinkers got together and would talk about new ideas, but some got overzleous and wanted a new world order and to take down the catholic church but they got wind of that and took them down first. Because the church had all the power, but it is thought they somehow survived and got angary. They now want the new world order with no old governments and no religions one world under scenice.not to be confused with scenicetology or the church of. If I were you do not join this group, I heard they are in to illegal things even funding al-quada But the aim is good use it for your group I will.

Aim

The order's main aim is the development of the brotherhood of humanity through the expression of perfect wisdom, love and liberty which means:

  • universal spiritual development
  • universal health
  • universal political freedom
  • universal religious freedom
  • universal education
  • universal prosperity
  • universal peace

The priory of sion-

The official emblem of the Priory of Sion is partly based on the fleur-de-lis, which was a symbol particularly associated with the French monarchy.[1]

The Prieuré de Sion, translated from French as Priory of Sion, is a name given to multiple groups, both real and fictitious. The most notorious is a fringe fraternal organization, founded and dissolved in France in 1956 by Pierre Plantard. In the 1960s, Plantard created a fictitious history for that organization, describing it as a secret society founded in the Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1099, which preserves the bloodlines of the Merovingian dynasty.[2] This myth was expanded upon and popularized by the 1982 controversial book The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail,[1] and later claimed as factual in the preface of the 2003 conspiracy fiction novel The Da Vinci Code.[3]

After becoming a cause célèbre from the late 1960s to the 1980s, the mythical Priory of Sion was exposed as a ludibrium created by Plantard as a framework for his false pretention to the French throne.[4] Evidence presented in support of its historical existence and activities before 1956 was discovered to have been forged and then planted in various locations around France by Plantard and his accomplices. Nevertheless, many conspiracy theorists persist in believing that the Priory of Sion is an age-old cabal which conceals a subversive secret.[5]

The Priory of Sion myth has been exhaustively debunked by journalists and scholars as one of the great hoaxes of the 20th century.[6] Some skeptics have expressed concern that the proliferation and popularity of books, websites and films inspired by this hoax have contributed to the problem of conspiracy theories, pseudohistory and other confusions becoming more mainstream.[7] Others are troubled by the romantic reactionary ideology unwittingly promoted in these works.[8]also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Priory_of_Sion if there is this witch was found be be a myth tooken from other real escret socities I would not join ,would you want to look like a but when you find out to go scamed ,probley for money and goods.

The illuminati- illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name that refers to several groups, both historical and modern, and both real and fictitious. Historically, it refers specifically to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776. In modern times it is also used to refer to a purported conspiratorial organization which acts as a shadowy "power behind the throne", allegedly controlling world affairs through present day governments and corporations, usually as a modern incarnation or continuation of the Bavarian Illuminati. In this context, Illuminati is often used in reference to a New World Order (NWO). Many conspiracy theorists believe the Illuminati are the masterminds behind events that will lead to the establishment of such a New World Order. Confusing the issue further is the fact that there are also several modern fraternal groups which include the word "Illuminati" in their names. also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Illuminati This group started out like the Rosicrucians

This group started out like the Rosicrucians  and was secret because of the catholic churches stand on free thinkers and the power that be at the time. they were found out, by who the oh lord the one and only  catholic church! they went under ground and got militant ideas of what?! a new world order. surprise, surprise, surprise, my, my, my, the even got ideas to infiltrate a good secret society the freemasons, but that didn't work to there advantage, because America was formed and freemason were more freer to be a club, a group, an organization, and such. Witch did not help the illuminate, also the freemasons was peace, new ideas, free thought and harmony in all races, creeds, religions, crafts persons, and peoples new a better ideas help shape the world and society to new a better things. With differences and deferring opinions ideas get shaped to something that is one size fits all but how can we help all and maintain you freeness.

The "new world order"-In international relations theory, the term "new world order" has been used to refer to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power. Despite various interpretations of this term, it is primarily associated with the notion of global governance The first Western usages of the term surrounded Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points and call for a League of Nations following the devastation of World War I. The phrase was used sparingly at the end of the Second World War when describing the plans for the United Nations and Bretton Woods system, in part because of the negative association to the failed League of Nations the phrase would bring. In retrospect however, many commentators have applied the term retroactively to the order put in place by the WWII victors as a "new world order."The most widely discussed application of the phrase of recent times came at the end of the Cold War. Presidents Mikhail Gorbachev and George H.W. Bush used the term to try to define the nature of the post Cold War era, and the spirit of great power cooperation that they hoped might materialize. Gorbachev's initial formulation was wide ranging and idealistic, but his ability to press for it was severely limited by the internal crisis of the Soviet system. Bush's vision was, in comparison, much more circumscribed and realistic, perhaps even instrumental at times, and closely linked to the Gulf War.
