The class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-10:00pm and on four Saturdays. Anyone with a passion to become a patroller is welcome to the Truckee Weekender OEC class. The class is especially designed for students from throughout the Eastern Sierra and Mother Lode Regions who would rather drive to Tahoe seven times for an outdoor experience than make 25 peak time commutes in the Bay Area. The class also serves students from the Tahoe area and those who have schedule conflicts with with other OEC classes. The class schedule is:

The class web site and registration are at tahoe-weekender.oectools.org Truckee Two Week Intensive #16808Bill Person & David Stepner will teach a two week intensive OEC course at a ski resort near Truckee CA in the two weeks after Thanksgiving, November 29 to December 13. This course is intended for students who cannot attend an earlier course and who can dedicate these two weeks to the course. It is especially appropriate for paid patrol staff, people moving to the Tahoe area and students who may travel long distances to attend the course. The class meets on the following dates

It is intended for experienced professionals who are confident of their on-snow skills and their "book learning." The students will prepare extensively for the course with a mentor, an active patroller whom they identify. Participants must have reasonable email availability, web skills and internet availability.
