So... What's Next???

Our next date is going to be: 5-28-2009 a Thursday at 7:46 a.m PTD -0.99 Feet Low Tide. Now we want to take this project to a global level!

How we plan on starting is by working with new kids to get them involved is by taking the kids from 6th grade and the elementary school next to our junior high school to Abalone Cove (at the most 30 kids). We are going to ask kids that would really want to go out and help. When they want to go we will take them out. With this we will show them how to help the environment and get them to see what there missing out on. Soon they will pass down the experience and try to get more kids involved. We want to keep getting kids involved as well as our selves. So with concluding this project we want to keep going on and take it further than we  even thought of. We will start out small but it will expand with getting everyone to get to work by helping there environment. We just need kids in our age group or younger to help and we will have our sea creatures and seas much cleaner, healthier and longer to see. So what's next for you???

Ideas for next year:
  • connecting math and statistics
  • GLOBE projects (we are starting a monitoring station)
  • doing a project with a high school or university
  • getting more information about the local runoff system and other sources of pollution
