| About Us
The Orange County Association of Educational Office Professionals (OCAEOP) is a professional association for office professionals in the educational system.
Our goals are to provide relevant and unique educational opportunities for our members; to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and methods for members, which result in more efficient and effective service to the educational community; to establish and administer a scholarship fund; and to provide community service.
OCAEOP was conceived when two members of the Laguna Beach Unified School District realized the necessity of having an organization where education office professionals could come together to development their skills while interacting with each other educational office professionals. An organizational meeting was held in 2004, a constitution adopted, and officers elected. The organization has grown and developed into a meaningful group for professional growth of educational office professionals in Orange County, California. OCAEOP recognizes the unique role of educational office professionals and the importance of the contributions made in such a position.
OCAEOP is an affiliate of the California Association of Educational Professionals (CAEOP) and National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP) and is allied with the Orange County Department of Education.
Now is the time to revive your commitment to yourself and your professional growth becoming a member of the Orange County Association of Educational Office Professionals (OCAEOP). Yearly dues are only $25 per year for active members and $15 for retired members. Membership is open to all classified individuals working in office positions in Orange County’s public or private educational institutions. We are here for you ~ maybe you are looking for professional development training or just the ear of another professional that understands the work that you do every day. Our association provides both…and so much more!! A membership application is located on our membership page. If you have any questions regarding OCAEOP, please contact Laurie Marrujo at lmarrujo@iusd.org or one of our other Executive Board members for more information on becoming a member. |
