The Class Costume:
For competitions, WIDA beginner dancers under age 15 must wear a white polo shirt with the WIDA emblem, plus a green skirt, white poodle socks (championship length, not knee length) and dance shoes (of which there are 2 types: soft and hard). The hair is also to be worn in a bun with a bun wig and with a class crown. Dancers in the over-17 age groups wear black tights (70 DEN ) or white poodle socks and a bun wig. |
