Welcome to a New America!

The Obama Democratic Club of Silicon Valley (or ODCSV) is a confluence of dedicated supporters of PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA who wish to continue our advocacy of hope and change in this diverse South Bay community.

Our Agenda

We are Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Greens, Decline-to-States, drawn together by the core principle that we are the keepers of our country and we must remain vigilant to ensure a healthy future for its ideals and aspirations

We will act as a hub for diverse local groups of Obama activists as they continue their hope and action from the 2008 campaign into the policymaking of a new administration.

We will form a bond between anyone and everyone who wants to see the American promise extended to all people, especially those less fortunate in our own backyard.

Block by block, door by door, we will strive to change the face of politics and community action in Santa Clara County...

In short, we're FIRED UP and READY TO GO!

Know your elected officials

We've sure got a lot of mess to clean up in Washington, Sacramento, and here in Santa Clara County. But we'll get nowhere fast if we don't win the hearts and minds of the people we elect to do the cleaning. The first step is knowing your representatives.

President Obama awarded Nobel Peace Prize!

"Good morning.  Well, this is not how I expected to wake up this morning.  After I received the news, Malia walked in and said, "Daddy, you won the Nobel Peace Prize, and it is Bo's birthday!"  And then Sasha added, "Plus, we have a three-day weekend coming up."  So it's good to have kids to keep things in perspective.

"I am both surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the Nobel Committee.  Let me be clear:  I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations."
