Hi. I'm Obaid. If you have followed this link from my CV, please jump to my professional work. I'm here, finally! This is a temporary website written in templates provided by dear ol' Google. I'll have my real website up soon. Meanwhile, I have had real fun putting up this placeholder website. And oh yeah, this website doesn't have a particular theme. It's kind of a repository of random things. I have many ideas what to do with my website, but currently don't have much time and expertise to implement them. Got website I'm not a big planner. Due to my laidback lifestyle, this website is yet another product of my long 'unplanning'. I wanted to get a website (seriously, who doesn't). I sometimes even had ideas what to put up here. I used to think that I can really hit it if I had a website. So I went ahead, got myself this domain. Now that also required me to get a hosting plan to host my website. Dude, it's too complicated! Anyways, I set out looking for ways to set up a decent website and I don't have any plan to go with this idea. That reminded me of Googlepages. Hey Google is honestly one of the best things that ever happened to Internet. If it werent't for Google, we would be paying to use email accounts by now (eeeeeeeek!). There are so many things about Internet that Google have refined, and there are so many new things that Google has defined. I have been really late in getting an online presence, and I really don't deserve to share any points of views with anyone. But when I actually set out to get a website, I found out that even though many years have passed, and the interest of the people have arisen to the limit and I guess millions of websites are being sold daily, still the rates are a bit too much. I looked around for the best options I could find. To make things easier for the people who want to have their websites, I've recollected my thoughts on my domain name registration help page. What to write This is what I write when I have no idea what to write. Life is uncertain, and short. So the whole idea of writing is leaving behind a book, a mark on history. Most marks like these just gather dust over the years in a lonesome bookshelf high in a very dark and seldom-visited library. And frankly, I don't know why a library would be interested to keep such writing in their collection in the first place. It has nothing to say - says nothing. How can a simple book have this kind of influence on people's lives? Come to think of it, how can one have the desired results before actually figuring out what went wrong where. Getting wrong results are the base one for many things. For inspirations. First results work like a filter. Whereas undesired first results will scare away the less determined, they'll encourage the highly motivated individuals. Motivation comes from lots of things, intial failures are right up there in the list. So all in all, life is just as much about gains as is about losses. Many insignificant losses contribute to a very meaningful gain. And so on. Give a guy a website... Give a guy a website, and he'll come up with something very important that he wants to say to the world, and it would be as if the world couldn't have made it without his guidelines. Since I got a website now, I will also put up anything I want to write. 'Let the guy with the website talk'. So here's what I have to say on manners. Imagine that! It's not much, but just somethings from our everyday life. Take a look at these.. We've been given five senses to absorb the wide spectrum of energy that surrounds us in many ways. It's there to experience. Not all experiences can be pleasant, but the ones that are always overrule the ones that aren't. A pleasant experience can be an inspiration. While copying is never thought to be a crime worth forgiving, inspiration is something that's almost as natural as breathing. Due to the limitations imposed by the medium called Internet, I can only share some inspirational websites that've inspired me down the road called life. You haven't seen anything yet.. I might add a few more things to this boring website, but don't pressurize me. You shouldn't be here, anyway. This is not worth your time. Hell, it's not even worth my own time! I will still create it, and you will still go through the links. It always happens the same way. Someone comes across such a website, and he or she really tries to make sense out of it, looks around, flip through the very few links only in the hope that no one would have time to waste on such a project. But isn't such an assumption the early death of creative imagination? Don't judge me! I'll do it for you. Leave as early as you realize the worthlessness of this fragment of world wide web. | Random pages .Manners Collection of notes and presentations
