Thursday Evening Social Bowls
During the spring and summer period, the Oakleigh Bowling Club has Social Casual Bowls on a Thursday evening from 6:30pm - 10:30pm - under our new lights. Everyone is most welcome - all we ask is that you wear flat-soled shoes, or socks, or bare feet - this is to prevent damage to the greens. This is a very social time for new bowlers to learn the skills of the game and to have some light hearted fun - click on the "Social Bowls" tab at left. HAPPY HOUR EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT FROM 5PM for the winter period
from May to August. Thursday night social bowls will be replaced with FRIDAY NIGHT HAPPY HOUR – night bowls, footy, food, catch up with friends etc. Please come along. CARPET BOWLS - During the winter months the club has indoor Carpet Bowls on eachTuesday at 11:00AM commencing from Tuesday 3rd May (in 2011)
Social Committee Events
We have a very active Social Club Committee which arranges events such as dinners, indoor carpet bowls during the winter months, coach trips to various clubs, theatre evenings, music nights, bqqs and much more - - Fun for All Ages!! Hellenic Bowls Club The Hellenic Bowls Day is usually held on the last Sunday of each month at the Oakigh Bowling Club. The OBC facilities are available for hire for private functions - see "Functions & Facilities Hire" tab at left
OBC MUSIC GROUP – The group would love other members to join them on a Monday night from 8pm, all music night dates are in the OBC diary (see calender tab on left). This is a great night out so please come along .... |
