The winner of the contest gets a visit to our school from Jeff Kinney, a comic of your family drawn by Jeff Kinney, and a signed copy of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book. posted ‎‎Oct 2, 2008 10:24 AM‎‎ by Caroline Herbert   [ updated ‎‎Oct 2, 2008 10:44 AM‎‎ ]

On Monday, November 3rd, Jan Brett will be speaking and signing books from 5pm to 7pm at Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, NC. Quail Ridge Books is located at 3522 Wade Avenue in Raleigh across from Meredith College. For more information, call Quail Ridge Books at 919-828-1588. Our 2nd grade students are very excited about this visit since we have been studying Jan Brett as part of our author study unit. On top of that, it's not even a school night because students do not have school on Tuesday, November 4th due to Election Day. Hope to see you there!
