Ms. Caroline Herbert is in her
4th year as Media Coordinator for Oak Grove Elementary School. Before
coming to Oak Grove, she taught 4th grade for four years at Vance Charter School in Henderson, NC. Ms. Herbert also serves on the board of the North Carolina School Library Media Association as chairperson of the Research Committee. She was born at Durham Regional Hospital and has lived in Durham for most of her life. Her favorite color is purple. Her favorite children's author is Roald Dahl. Her favorite adult author is Margaret Maron. Her favorite season is winter. She has a dog named Murphy. When she is not at school, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, geocaching, singing, playing the flute, researching her family history, and spending time with her family.
