Are you ready for another fun-filled night of discovery and learning?  Well, you’re in luck!  Oakbrook Elementary’s Annual Math and Science Night is almost here. Activities will include old favorites like STAR Lab, Mad Science, and GAK.  Our authetic old time miner Diamond Del will be here to help you search for exquisite treasures.  And who can forget Reptile Man (also known Mr. Rourk) with his huge collection of snakes and gators?  We will also have demonstrations with local experts on birds of prey, hummingbirds, insects, electricity and back safety.   New this year is the ‘touch tank’ provided by the South Carolina Aquarium.  You will also be able to participate in a variety of hands-on activities conducted by our own OES teachers.  So mark your calendars for Thursday, March 19 from 6:00-7:30 and plan to be here.  You don’t want to miss the fun!

For Your Dining Pleasure

Cheese and pepperoni pizza will be available in the cafeteria from 5:00 until 6:00.  The cost is $8.00 for a whole pizza or $1.00 a slice.  Drinks will be available for fifty cents.  Pizza is first come, first serve so come early and enjoy!
