Arrive an hour and a half before guests to set up, sound check, and have a light mingle or dinner music playing as they arrive.

Maintain a current and extensive playlist to honor as many requests as possible.

Maintain top of the line sound/lighting with little chance of malfunction.

Provide a professional appearance with no cords hanging all over the place or beat up home made equipment to detract from your night.

Make sure the volume level is appropriate to keep the guests on the dance floor happy, as well as the guests not on the dance floor.

Show the highest respect to your guests and honor requests, while never playing anything inappropriate.

Adhere to your do play and do not play lists.

Use an appropriate and professional microphone presence for the moments throughout the night. Nothing inappropriate or over-the-top.

Earn your trust so you are completely at ease knowing the night will be perfect.

Act as a master of ceremonies to coordinate all the details so everything happens in a timely manner and exactly as you wish.

Work closely with your photographer and/or videographer so they are completely ready for all the moments of the night.

Provide a full line of backup equipment on location as well as a back up DJ on call.

Dress in nice evening attire.
