     RESPONSIBILITIES OF RESPECTIVE POSITIONS:
     

    I.  ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

         The Administrative Staff is in charge of all divisions and squads of NYCSP. The primary responsibilities of Staff include organizing and directing special events, enforcing general regulations, budgeting Patrol finances, establishing public relations, and evaluating all programs in Patrol.  

     
    II.  COORDINATOR

        The Coordinator is in charge of his or her respective divisions. Besides enforcing general regulations, the Coordinator also helps to carry out the responsibilities of the Staff.  


    III.  SUPERVISOR 

        The Supervisor is in charge of his or her respective squads, and ensures that all regulations are followed by Patrolmen and Team Leaders. The Supervisor is also responsible for evaluating his/her Team Leaders and performing uniform check on full uniform days.


    IV.  TEAM LEADER 

        The Team Leader is in charge of his or her respective teams. He/She ensures that all Patrolmen abide by the rules of Patrol, evaluates the Patrolmen based on their performances, and assists in special events.  


    V.  PATROLMAN 

        The Patrolman is responsible for encouraging students to follow school regulations, providing information and directions, assisting in special events, and maintaining a safe environment for students and faculty.

    ATTENDANCE:

        - Patrolmen must report to their assigned posts as promptly as possible after informing their teachers.

       - All absences or lateness should be reported to the Administrative Staff via telephone or e-mail.

       - Excessive unexcused absences or lateness will result in suspension, or discharge, from Patrol.

     UNIFORM:

      - All members of Patrol should be appropriately dressed at all times, including wearing Patrol ID cards WHILE ON TOUR ONLY. Outrageous hair colors/ styles, bright or baggy pants, short shorts/skirts, open-toed shoes, and offensive/sleeveless shirts are NOT permitted. Patrolmen otherwise will be marked as unprepared.

      - Full uniform is mandatory for: (Fall-Spring)- the first week of every month, (Summer)- every Friday of every week, and for special events such as graduations, school competitions, etc. Special events will be announced in advance.

      - Full uniform includes:       

    FALL-SPRING SQUADS:

    LADIES: white, collared button-down shirt, black skirt/pants, black shoes, and ID card

    GENTLEMEN: white, collared button-down shirt, black pants, black shoes, black belt, tie, and ID card

     

    SUMMER SQUADS:

    LADIES: white, collared button-down shirt, khaki skirt/pants, black shoes, and ID card

    GENTLEMEN: white, collared button-down shirt, khaki pants, black shoes, black belt, tie, and ID card

     SERVICE CREDIT & RECOMMENDATION:
     
      - All Patrol members will be given the amount of service credit they have worked for after passing the probation period.
     
       - In order to request and receive service credit or recommendation letters, the Patrol member must fill out a Service Credit/Recommendation Letter request form and obtain the approval of the Administrative Staff. A request form may take up to 2 weeks in order to process.
     
       - To obtain a college recommendation letter, the member must pass evaluation. The recommendation letter will reflect the evaluation grade.
             Passing grade for       a) Patrolman:                        22 pts.
                                                           b) Team Leader:                   27 pts.
                                                           c) Supervisor:                        30 pts.
                                                 d) Coordinator:                      34 pts. 
     
      - Resigned members can receive service credit and recommendation letters.
     
      - Discharged members can only receive service credit up to the point when their behavior is deemed as unacceptable. No recommendation letter will be granted.


    *THE ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISCHARGE ANY PATROLMAN DUE TO VIOLATIONS OF REGULATIONS*
