ReactionsI just wanted to tell you that I was very proud of the message I read. Supporting the scientific community by increasing the interactions is a way to go. I was part of the MARC/MBRS program at Brooklyn College and it helped me to get through my Ph.D. I have been working for the ARMY in platelet research for almost 3 years now. As I departed from NY I was sad to see that minority funds were being reduced/frozen and other minorities professors were having difficulties to keep grants. I often remember them and I thank them sincerely in my thoughts. Dr Lipke, Dr Angulo, Dr Eckhardt were my mentors. I also remember Dr Bramwell from BC who was in charge of the MARC program. I think we need to support the scientific community. I am very proud to hear that there is an institution that continues to involve minorities and help them. very respectfully, CPT Mabel Salas United States Army Dental and Trauma Research Detachment (USADTRD) | Recent Announcements
