QUALIFYING FOR THE WINTER FINAL TO BE HELD ON Saturday 14th APRIL 2012
- you need to attend 2 NWWHA shows (same horse/rider combination)at either Eglinton or RDA Coleraine competing at least once in any class you wish to enter at the Final
- If you require a height certificate according the NWWHA Rulebook you must either have a valid life height certificate or have obtained an annual height certificate for 2012 prior to entry for the Final.
- if you have a cob/small hunter/pony, you must produce your height certificate as per the NWWHA rulebook and have this checked by the Committee - if you do not do this during January - March 2012 your entry for the Final will not be accepted. Please bring passports to the Eglinton show on March 3rd
- if you have an M&M pony it must be registered in a M&M breed studbook as a pure bred pony to compete in these classes and during January-March 2012 you must produce your breed passport otherwise you may not compete in the final. In addition, height restrictions of the stud book apply and where a maximum height is specified for the breed you must produce a measurement as per working hunter ponies above.
- the NWWHA committee will keep a record of attendances to ensure you are eligible for the final.
PRIZES AT THE FINAL
- Old Mill Saddlery are already on board to provide £1000 worth of vouchers. Other major sponsors to date are Thompsons who are providing bags of feed at each qualifying show for class winners (provided the class has 4 or more entries) and Richmonds who are donating vouchers for their store.
- the NWWHA Committee are currently working hard to bring in additional sponsorship and friends of NWWHA have already donated some cups and trophies (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!) for our Final. If you can help in this way please contact a member of the committee.
- We hope to provide prizemoney in every class at the final. To this end NWWHA have committed a minimum of £1 from each entry in every class over the winter league going towards the prizefund. Therefore, the more entries we have over the winter the bigger the prize fund - so bring your friends!!
JUDGING AT THE FINAL
- NWWHA will bring top UK or Irish Working Hunter judges to judge the finals.
