To promote a sense of community and shared responsibility , all of the members of NWTCA are grouped into four teams.  The teams take turns cleaning and maintaining the Bhodkhang and offer kitchen services during community events.  The teams are named NYATRI, after the first king of Tibet and SONGTSEN, TRISONG and TRIRAL, after the three great religious kings of Tibet.  The names were chosen to give the younger Tibetans a taste of our rich history and increase their curiosity about the immense contributions made by these great kings.
