Planning for Student Success in Our Library.

Class visits:

Notifiy by visit, Email, or phone the library staff to book a block. We need to know your class and grade level.

Collaborate: Discuss your project with a Teacher-librarian during your prep time or arrange to meet during lunch.

 

Ask about available resources.

 

Give us a copy of your assignment so the librarian knows exactly what your objectives are.

 

Tell students to bring their “Go Card” to sign out books.

 

Circulate and help your students find and analyze the information.

 

Help us make sure students put books back on the cart and tidy up before they leave.

Teachers and students are encouraged to use to resources located in our Library Information Centre (grey literature stand located in the centre of the library).  Feel free to take multiple copies or direct students to visit the library and pick up :
