The Shaatnez Inspection Service of Seattle was founded by Rabbi Chaim Tatel over three decades ago. Upon his retirement, he has been suceeded by the Northwest Shatnez Laboratory, a full service shatnez lab that is an affiliate of the International Association of Professional Shaatnez Laboratories (NCSTAR), a network of over 100 testers in more than 70 cities worldwide.
