I cannot believe it is time for me to come back to school already. I have missed all of the kids and look forward to see what they have all learned. I want to thank Mrs. Meyer for all of her hard work and dedication these past few months.

Theme Unit:
We will be learning about penguins. The students will learn about where penguins live, what they eat, enemies, how they move, and how to take care of a baby penguin.
Language Arts:
We will be finishing up several writing activities from the last few weeks. I cannot wait to see what the students have learned over the last couple of months. Later in the week we will do some writing activities with the penguin facts that we have learned.

We will be working on positional words this week. The students will be doing activities based on the directions of beside, inside, outside, on top of, behind, in front of, under.
Library:
Please read your library book with your child and put it back in their backpack to return to school. We will go to library on Thursday, January 21. Our next visit will be on Wednesday, January 27.
