The Early Childhood Initiatives Center

 
Thank you to the Early Childhood Initiatives Center (ECIC) for sponsoring our NWAECA meetings for 2011- 2012! 

From training to technical assistance, the Early Childhood Initiatives Center is committed to serving early childhood educators and providers. 
 
Trainings
Certified trainers offer a wide variety of free trainings:
  • early childhood
  • business development
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Pre-Service Training
Space is available free of charge for all childcare programs to host staff meetings, trainings and/or retreats. 
 
Resources and Financial Support
 A resource center is available with:
  • computers
  • die cuts
  • laminator
  • book binding machine
  • curriculum materials and early childhood library
  • copier
  • daily amount of free disposable supplies like construction paper, butcher paper, poster board, folders and more!
Additional financial support services include:
  • free flu clinics
  • free equipment and materials through the homework and Learning on Display initiatives
  • quality accreditation, quality rating and improvement system mini-grants
