NV Associates is collaborating with a network of leading international experts to provide services in the fields of urban planning, landscape architecture, architecture, economics, and engineering. Main areas of activities include: Professional service in urban planning and architecture designs and developments, especially in Vietnam and Pacific Rim Countries.
Teaching courses of urban planning, landscape architecture, and architecture
Research (strategic planning, NGO, physical form of downtowns and mixed-use centers: development and preservation, design and identity, use and perception, and issues of Vietnamese communities in the world).
Community Service (consultancy of strategic development, coordination of international & national cooperation programs, community development).
Dr. Nam-Son Ngo-Viet Doctor Nam-Son NGO-VIET has had more than 20 years of teaching and professional experiences in international planning and architecture developments in Asia (China, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam) and North America (Canada and United States). Dr. Ngo-Viet has encompassed his works with a vision of interdisciplinary cooperation and practical research bridging with practice, including teaching at University of Washington, working at international companies and with leading experts (Skidmore & Owings, Merrill, office of architect Ngo Viet Thu), and providing strategic consultancy to local governments (Vietnam, Canada, and United States). He has also engaged in planning, architectural and socio-cultural research projects and presented lectures at universities and conferences in the world. Dr. Ngo-Viet has been member of professional and academic institutions, among them are American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association, and Union of Architects of Vietnam. He got a doctorate degree from University of Washington, a master degree from University of California at Berkeley, and a diploma of architecture from University of architecture in Ho Chi Minh City. He is proficient with digital media, 3D design and simulation, and computer networking. He communicates fluently in French, English, and Vietnamese.
