This season we will compete in the East Coast Women’s Lacrosse Association within the USL WDIA. We are lucky to have many new and talented players, very strong veterans, as well as an alumna that has volunteered her time to coach the team. In both 2006 and 2007 we won our division playoffs and earned a spot to compete in the US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Association’s National Championship. We were among the top sixteen teams in the nation and proved to be a strong competitor, especially given the growing nature of our program. In 2006, we ranked 14th and in 2007 improved to rank 13th. Although we have not captured a coveted championship, we continually win the Sportsmanship Award, which reflects what our team is truly about.
