Certified Naturally Grown Produce(with an emphasis on southern foods)

Nut Creek Farm is focused on providing high-quality produce for Danville area residents grown free of synthetic pesticides or herbicides. Natural fertilizers and soil amendments are used according to soil tests and crop needs. No Roundup. No Atrazine. No pesticides. No treated seeds. Growing food the pre-industrial way is more physical work but is better tasting as well as healthier and safer for the body. As a physician, I have committed myself full-time to improving health through providing food using organic methods. Everything I sell is locally grown. I try to grow crops native to my earlier home in Texas and Louisiana along with local favorites. For more information on my philosophy, please click on "About Us" in the sidebar to the left. For details on my certification, look for Nut Creek Farm on the naturallygrown.org website.

My season at the Woodbine Lane and Rt 11 farmstand starts the first Saturday in May. My hours this year are Tuesdays 3pm-7pm, and Saturdays 9am-1pm. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month I am at Fork's Farm 10am-3pm. My season lasts until the Saturday before Thanksgiving. That market I will be at Forks Farm.

Fork's Farm is 8 miles north of Bloomsburg off of 487. Turn right to cross Fishing Creek on Winding Road at the village of Forks(toward twin covered bridges). Fork's Farm is 1.5 miles on the left.

My Rt 11 at Woodbine Lane farm stand is open Saturdays 9am-1pm. Tuesday hours are 3pm-7pm.
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday starting in June through October I am at Fork's Farm, not Rt 11.

Asparagus, rhubarb, head lettuce, spinach, swiss chard, scallions, kale, beet greens, daikon, and white sweet turnips are now available.
