We, the members of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Council, strive:

To make the community a safer, healthier, and more family-friendly place to live; and

To represent the youth perspective on matters of interest to Nystrom, including the Nystrom United Re-Vitalization Effort (NURVE); and

To be role models who work to inspire young ones; and

To be youth leaders who have a voice, help our community and schools, recruit others, and succeed in our lives.
