Trust us ... we're here to help you!

Some of the Koolpinyah crew at a 2009 media photo-shoot.  Handsome devils, eh?

But when we're not showing our good sides to the camera in a big pose, we really can be hard at work ...

There are some people that are just sooo lucky! The vehicle below slammed into trees on Challoner Circuit at Humpty Doo early one Sunday morning, and the driver suffered only minor injuries!

But it's not all smoke, flames and bent metal. We fundraise through the year to provide for regular donations to charities, and to conduct our annual pre-Christmas Santa Run. With a procession of four or five fire trucks with lights flashing and sirens wailing, the convoy follows a set route through the emergency response area. At pre-arranged 'Santa Stops' the locals have gathered with their children and are handed 'Santa Bags' and cold drinks. It has now become an annual local community event eagerly anticipated by parents, kids and brigade members alike!

Looks like we've got ourselves a convoy!

The rural children don't get to see Santa like their urban cousins do!

Anybody seen that naughty elf around? Must be hiding around here somewhere!

Meet Brittany ... one of Santa's little helpers!

And the kids just love dancing and mixing it with Santa!
