Founder - Michael Josten

I am 16 years old and live in the very small town of Ventura, Iowa way out in the middle of nowhere. I live on a farm and I help my dad to raise pigs, corn, and soybeans. I am a sophomore at Ventura High School. I am involved in church youth group, band, jazz band, student council, NHS, SES, FFA, 4-H, baseball, basketball, cross-country, and pretty much whatever else is going on at school.

I thought of the idea for the NSRS during a very rainy week where I got the chance to skip in the rain a lot and I thought I should spread the joy! Even though this whole NSRS thing is pretty cool and all, Jesus is definitely a lot cooler! After all He is my Savior and my Lord and without Him I would be up this creek of life without a paddle!!!
