Middle School Trip

Students from the Middle School class help plan a yearly two-night trip away from Lancaster.  Past locations for this trip have included New York City, Philadelphia, the Poconos and Camp Helelopen near Lewes, Delaware.

During the 2008-2009 school year we traveled to Washington, DC May 20-22 and stayed at the William Penn House. Students planned the trip and guided the class during individual outings during our time in DC.  Highlights included meeting with Senator Bob Casey on the Capitol Steps and playing hacky sack at nearly every opportunity imaginable.  In addition to visiting several museums and monuments, the class successfully negotiated many trips on the subway and managed to visit the zoo without major incident.
