Seminar - Racing Rules 2009

The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) are the rules that govern the conduct of the sport of sailboat racing and include the so-called "right of way" rules for boats that are racing. The rules are written by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) and are published every four years in the year following the Olympic Games. The current version of the RRS – “The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012”, came into effect on 1 January 2009 and can be found online at: http://www.sailing.org/tools/counter.php?id=536

What does this mean to us racers?

We are fortunate to have David Searle speak to us about what rules have changed, what these changes are and how these rule changes will affect us as we go into the 2009 sailboat racing season.
