Miss N.P.B.C. 2012
Danielle Barger  Once again I am happy to represent the NPBC as your Princess, were gonna have a great year once again This is what I have been doing since the start of the year. I went to Las Vegas to the Miss America Pageant. Let me say it is totally different being there, watching behind the scenes. Wow it's so different! I went to the Miss America autograph signing session and I met so many of the past Miss America's. I met 1955 Lee Meriwether, 1981 Susan Powell, 1948 Bebe Shopp Waring, 1989 Gretchen Carlson, 2000 Heather French, 2008 Kirsten Haglung, 2009 Katie Stam Irk, just to name a few. Then I got to try on the REAL CROWN that they were going to crown the new Miss America with, wow what a thrill to think that I got to try on the actual crown before Miss America did. Photos from Consataters   Well here is the update on what I have been doing: In April I got my driver’s license, besides all of the boat club opening days I’ve been attending I really want to thank my Uncle Lenny and Cheryl Stager for attending with me and of course Aunt Anne, and Bill my boyfriend, and most of all my Mom who drove me, I met a lot of people and made some friends,. I attended Bush River Yacht Club Opening Day wow, what a great bunch of people, they had a ceremony like you could not believe so many people, they made me feel like a part of the club the people were so nice I had a great time I also walked away with a few friends.   I’ve been doing a some work for the Ronald McDonald House I’ve worked a River Sharks game, collected money at the hospital in Mt Holly. The 4th of July parade was fun, I had a blast decorating the boat thank you Mayor Pattie for the use of your boat and Carl for the Truck, Michelle and Bill Banks for getting up and driving the golf cart and handing out Icee's to the kids, also thanks mom and Bill (my boyfriend) for walking the route and handing out the icee's. Congrats to Bill and Michelle on their marriage . Thanks Cheryl, Aunt Anne for your help.  The Queens Pageant was a blast I had a great time I’d like to thank everyone that helped make it a memorable time thank you to everyone that helped I had fun painting, and thank Carl for the use of the boat. A special thank you to all of the people that helped to make the pageant fun, It was great to have my Dad walk me, and very nice of the pageant committee to recognize and bring him and the Avalon String Band for bringing him on stage, also I want to thank my friend Olivia Suarez, who is Miss New Jersey National Teenager and her family for supporting me at the pageant.    Now that the Pageant is over I started practicing for volleyball for the coming year at Gloucester Catholic High School wow it’s hard to believe that I am a senior, I’m somewhat sad that it is senior year but again I can’t wait to go to College and make new friends while staying in touch with my high school friends. I have been visiting colleges with my mom. It’s now October, our volleyball had 2 tournaments we did well at the Moorestown tournament we made it to the 3 round but then we lost, the second tournament at OLMA we actually won. Well I am down to our last game as a senior and guess what we made it to the State Tournament but lost the very first game thanks to the coach!!!    Thats Pretty Much It, Danielle

American Signature Furniture in Iselin/Woodbridge NJ, where I had the pleasure of meeting Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan, what a beautiful person, and such a pleasure to chat with. |
