Talking about myself... may be a journalist, may be not. I prefer calling myself an entertainer - that's what we do after all!

Hello 

I am Noyon Jyoti Parasara. I am an entertainment correspondent, specializing in Hindi movies and staying in Mumbai. I have been writing for newspapers across India and abroad. 

Apart from writing on the Of's and for's of the Hindi film industry, I hope someday to  make it to the league myself. Hence I am also working on my own scripts and stories - that can be made into films. Good films hopefully.

And yes I am fiercely possessive about my birth place Assam. I am Assamese to the core and tend to get violent when people refer to the NE of India in any crude language. I hope to make a difference in people's opinion about the region someday, which I believe is primarily because of lack of knowledge about it.
