Entrepreneurship Career Studies Certificate

Want to be your own boss?
Are you looking to start or grow your business?
Maybe you want to earn 3 credits in just 6 weeks?

This 27-credit program is designed to prepare students to start and to grow successful small businesses by providing instruction in entrepreneurial culture, strategy, operations, financial management, marketing and leadership.

All courses will be taught using an accelerated six to seven week semester format so the dedicated student can complete the program in about a year. Classes will use a hybrid of in-class and on-line instruction methods and will be taught by seasoned entrepreneurs who have been through it all. Experiential learning will be emphasized.

Students have the option to take classes Saturday mornings at the Community Business Partnership location in Springfield or two evenings a week at the Economic Development Group location in Arlington.  Both locations offer free parking!
