This summer Nourish International will work with Seva Mandir, an NGO in Rajastan, INDIA devoted to rural development through improving health, education, local institutions, etc. A team of 4 student volunteers will document the formation of a community leadership program for women. This program is intended to empower women as they help their communities to circumvent and overcome the corruption within their local governments. Nourish volunteers will record these women’s struggle in leadership and development initiatives. The student documentary will also serve as recruitment for more women to join the program and as promotion of the NGO to donors and grant foundations. Nourish is seeking volunteers to participate - Especially those who are skilled in Hindi, Film, or Writing. The project will be 6 weeks long and take place in Udaipur, Rajasthan. 4 Volunteers needed.
