Welcome to our Stamp Club. The North York Philatelic Society was founded in the 1950s and has had a rich history since. The club has over 100 active members and meets about twice a month. We have two major annual stamp auctions, which are usually held on the third Wednesdays in April and October, and an annual stamp show, which is usually held on the fourth Saturday in March. We always welcome new members, so please join us at any of our meetings, and we will gladly introduce you to the club and its members. The NYPS meets on the first and third Wednesdays of September through June and on the third Wednesdays of July and August. Meetings are held between 6pm and 9pm in the Skaters Lounge of the Herbert H Carnegie Centennial Centre, 580 Finch Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario M2R 1N7 (one & a half blocks west of Bathurst Street). The Centennial Centre has plenty of parking. If you find that you'd like to join the club and become a regular member, the annual membership fee is only $5 (free for youths under 16 years of age). The official start of the membership year is in September. For more information, please call Mike Turk at (905) 731-8380, email the website coordinator at levatnyps@yahoo.com or just come to one of our meetings. |
