Background:
North Shore Swim Club was founded in 1997 as a year round swim program and non-profit member of USA Swimming. The club consists of school-aged, high school, college and adult swimmers from Duluth, Superior, Proctor, Cloquet, Hermantown and the surrounding Northern Minnesota region. All practices take place at the University of Minnesota Duluth Pool unless otherwise noted. | Announcements:
Swimmer Classification: Youth -- Novice swimmers, 10 years & under (practice 3 x week) Age Group -- Intermediate swimmers, 10-13 years (practice 4-5 x week) Senior -- Experienced swimmers, 13-18 years (practice 4-6 x week) Masters -- 18+ years, very competitive experienced swimmers, college athletes, & triathletes (with coach's approval) (practice 4-6 x week) If there are any questions as to swimmer classification and/or prerequisites to joining our club, contact Head Coach Ted Patton. USA Swimming Membership: Beginning in January 2011, ALL swimmers regardless of meet attendance must be registered with USA Swimming, Inc. to attend practice.
