The Florida Sun Coast Unit #129 extends a warm welcome to all Airstream owners, both new and old, who are members in good standing of WBCCI.  We are a small unit dedicated to growth and welcome all new members.  Our rallies include weekends for those who are working and/or have school-age children and are planned monthly "in season" from November to May.  Most activities are centered in Southwest Florida, but we also travel throughout the State.

Sun Coast Unit Activities:

January 19th, 2008:    Cruise to Cabbage Key for lunch.  Boat departs from dock at Fishermen's Village, Punta Gorda at 9:00 a.m. and returns at 4:00 p.m.  Cost per person is $26.70 or $22.46 in groups of 15 or more, lunch not included.  Contact person:  Dale Gates (941) 423-4580. WEATHER CANCELLATION.

February 20th to 25th:  Florida State Rally, Sarasota.  Registration form in Blue Beret. 

March 6th to 10th:  Rodeo Rally and Parade.  Craig's RV Campground, Arcadia, Florida.  Parking fee $12.00 per night;  Rodeo fee $17.00 per person for reserved seats.  Arcadia is the only city in DeSoto County and there are many interesting attractions for us to enjoy.  Contact person:  Shirley Gates, (941-423-4580.

March 12th to 17th:  Assist the Florida Unit at the Fort Christmas Bluegrass Rally, Christmas, FL.  This is a work rally and all those attending must agree to stay through the 17th in order to attend.  Cost $6.00 per person.  Contact person:  Shirley Gates (941) 423-4580.

April 22nd to 26th:  Region 3 Rally.  "Spring Time Carolina's Style."   North Carolina State Fair Grounds, Raleigh, NC.

April 24th:  Friendship Lunch.  Sarasota County Technical Institute, Cafe 502, 4748 Beneva Rd., Bldg. 5, Sarasota, FL.  Cost: $9.00 per person for a 3 course meal, choice of 1 of 2 entrees.  Limited seating.  Reserve early.  Contact person:  Shirley Gates, (941)-423-4580. 

June 28th to July 4th:  51st International Rally, "Airstreams to Big Sky Country," Bozeman, Montana.  Registration Form in the Blue Beret. 

November:  St. Petersburg Buddy Rally, November 13-15, 2008.  Lazy Days Rally Park, Seffner, FL.
