Epilogue

Thanks for another great year!

Some bumps in the road, some rain, some heat, but overall good event.

Thanks to all who made it happen and who participated!

Food & Drink

Lost? Get Local Info:
Go to the place you registered, aka Event HQ, and they will have a 'local info' binder. The binder will contain most of what you see here as well as printed menus, maps, etc.. The friendly folks there will be able to help you find your way as well. Service is free of charge, but tips are always accepted.

On Site:
A lunch will be provided by the museum on Saturday and Sunday to all pre-registered reenactors free of charge. Museum script or your S&A card will be used to 'pay' for this meal (final plan TBA at Registration). Reenactors will be using an outside stand, like last year, to go to.
Of course, reenactors may pay for additional food themselves if desired.

Digging fire pits for campfires is NOT permitted ANYWHERE on the museum grounds. However, if you have something to elevate the fire off the ground, a brazier, grill, or something similar, you may use it. Ash and burnt material will have to be disposed of in a designated area, not dumped in your site! Propane grills/burners are also permitted.

Several water spigots are positioned throughout the museum grounds and the water is drinkable. It's well water, so it'll taste different, but it won't kill you. Bring your own proper containers to fill and use.

As a reminder alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted on the museum grounds. Being caught with alcohol will result in ejection from the event and grounds. This is one of the very few museum rules. If you want to drink, you can in Union or Marengo. Just don't come back stumble-down drunk (that will get you ejected also).

Currently we are also working on having a dinner on Saturday night provided (for a charge) as well as a simple breakfast Sunday morning. We need to know if you are interested, please let Phil know!
