Discounts

Residential customers who provide evidence of being sixty-two (62) years of age or older will qualify for a $2.00 discount per bimonthly billing, if they reside at the account address.

Residential customers who qualify for and provide substantiation of total disability support will qualify for a discount, if they reside at the account address.

Deposits

A $50.00 deposit is required for all new residential accounts.  Customers who are homeowners and establish a satisfactory record of payment for a minimum period of eight quarters from the date of deposit may request a refund.  Proof of ownership/purchase must be provided.

A  $40 service charge will be assessed to all customers who request to start service and within six (6) months request a discontinuance of account service.

 

A delinquent customer, shut off for nonpayment, must pay the appropriate service charge*, the total bill owing and a $50 deposit (unless previously provided) to reinstate service.

 

* $40 to turn on prior to 4:00 p.m. and $60.00 to turn on after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends.

 

Repair services required to meters/equipment for other than the ordinary cost of keeping meters and equipment in repair may be subject to charges and replacement costs.
